Abbott's TaeKwonDo America had recently purchased a new website template and was in need of converting their old site to fit the template. After talking with the owner, Sean Abbott, we saw that a martial arts school has rather unique requirements for a functional website. We took the template that he had purchased and reworked it to meet those needs. Using a mix of php, jquery and AJAX, abbottstkd.com now has an event calendar, class schedule, rotating photo stream and gallery, instructor bios, separate news and alerts sections.
